The Association Végétarienne de France (AVF) stimulates and accompanies the individual and collective transition towards a vegetarian diet, at its different stages (flexitarianism, vegetarianism, veganism) and whatever the motivations of this transition (ethics, ecology, health, solidarity North-South, culinary pleasure, sport).

The actions of the AVF are:
1 // Informs and raises awareness about the importance of the food transition (Synthesis and popularization of science, edition of a magazine, speaking media, stands and conference throughout France)
2 // Accompany the general public and companies (cooking classes, labeling of vegetarian products with the V Label, consulting to companies, work on the establishment of vegetarian options in the collective catering.)
3 // Gather and support the vegetarian community , vegan and in transition (convivial meetings, local initiatives, etc.)
4 // Advocacy for the food transition at the level of society (work with public institutions and political actors: expertise, advice, formulation and defence of proposals policies.)
