Entourage is a network of friendship between the inhabitants and the homeless people of a district, to fight against the loneliness of the homeless people. We encourage residents to take the step and dare to meet with homeless people.
Our missions:
- To awaken human consciences and engage everyone to change their outlook on the other;
- To equip local residents to help them create social ties with homeless people;
- Propose new tools to effectively articulate community solidarity;
- To equip the general public and encourage them to create a link, the association has developed: a video guide that gives concrete advice for daring the meeting: the program "Simple as hello" a mobile application that links the actors of the neighborhood - neighbors with and without shelter, associations ... - so that they can act on their scale and coordinate solidarity actions (organize solidarity cafés, make available skills, offer his cellar so that homeless people can leave their business ...)
The "Entourage" app is available on iPhone and Android. One year after its release, the application has 40,000 accounts created and more than 3,000 solidarity actions initiated.
