Established in 1950, the Chapel of Burgundy , in the beginning choir of children, becomes, in 1952, "house of children" and, in 1967, she moved to Uccle in the current premises.

In the 1960s, the Chapel is in a team of medico-psychological, paramedical and teaching and is certified in the category 140 (behavior disorders) to accommodate 44 boys 6 to 21 years, in accommodation and is also approved as a service of accompaniment (cat.1, a minimum of 12 situations). It is subsidised by the Cocof, the service's Flagship.

The general objective of the reception of the young is to help to build up, to socialize, in order that it integrates in its citizen in the society. To 17 years of age, the young person comes into the group of "young adults" or it will be prepared for autonomy and responsibility.
