The association By The World, created in 2013, has developed a program innovative teaching for living together in France and internationally.
Our vision : to enable the future citizens of the world to grow together beyond the geographical distances and the brakes intellectuals.
“The Journey of Pelico” is a device for exchanging digital for and by children of a primary class, a great dialogue of cultures at the height of the children.
Each year, approximately 100 classes of French primary spread over the whole national territory are participating in this dialogue of cultures at the height of the children. In correspondence augmented with schools of 4 countries in the world, these students uncover and discover their lives and their cultures.
They create and share web-stories on a dedicated platform (pelico.parlemonde.org), the opportunity to ask each other questions and enrich each other.
This trip has already helped more than 13,000 children to decenter, to open up to the world, understanding cultural differences through the play of the questioning, grow in curiosity, tolerance and solidarity ...
It is in parallel an engine is fun for a wide range of basic learning skills (especially reading, writing, geography, computer science).
