The vocation of Pari Roller, association of Law 1901, is to organize and to promote roller-blading excursions of Friday night, and by extension, to promote skating as leisure, sport, means of transport, and vector of social link. The association is apolitical, acommercial, confessional brief independent!
Founded in 1998, it was built on principles born from the street, so-called "wild" hikes: a small band of skaters then moved in the city with the sole purpose of the pleasure of urban gliding, meetings, discovery, in short, freedom.
20 years later, it is still an area of freedom, a spontaneous party, popular.
- Pari Roller does not consider itself as "owner" of the hike, but simply poses as a guarantor of a certain ethics, a certain philosophy, so that the spirit of the hike does not skid. Thus, it fights to protect the skaters from external aggression (attempts at commercial or political recovery, wild hauling, etc.) by imposing a control and a way of working in correlation with the philosophy of the first days.
- Worldly known for its record attendance (up to 25,000 participants on weekly hikes, over 40,000 at specific events), it now has between 500 and 1000 people (in increase).
- Its rhythm and its courses (different each week) are designed so that the widest public can live a pleasant moment: friends, families, children, young and old can enjoy not a race but rather a stroll in the city, secured by the management team and the police. It can not welcome beginners but "to be comfortable" on its rollers is enough.
- THE WALK IS FREE OF CHARGE, OPEN TO ALL NON-BEGINNER SKATERS (just knowing how to control their balance and speed).
