UNITED is a non-profit association whose purpose is to provide assistance to people in need in France and abroad.
Our actions are built around 3 axes : the assistance to the destitute, the social reintegration and awareness-raising.
The assistance to the destitute takes the form of several types of actions. The maraudes, who are to distribute meals to people who are in a precarious situation every weekend in Cergy and Argenteuil. Our approach aims to create a sustainable relationship between volunteers and beneficiaries, fostering true moments of exchange. We also introduce ad hoc measures emergency and humanitarian missions abroad.
The social reintegration is reflected in the organization of events that allows our beneficiaries to regain confidence and esteem.
The association educates the public on associative involvement and solidarity. The goal is to raise awareness on the need to build a more united world. We operate within schools (primary schools, colleges, and high schools) and socio-educational in order to introduce more young people to volunteering and to pass on the values that are the engine of the association : solidarity, mutual support, sharing and generosity.
